An app built around explicit desires only works if people feel safe using it honestly. That means giving members real tools to control who can reach them, a clear way to flag bad behavior, and a way to build trust over time — not just a community guidelines page nobody reads.
Blocking
Blocking is available from any profile. Once you block someone:
- They can no longer view your full profile page.
- Any new direct messages between you are rejected.
- Existing message history stays visible for your own records, but the composer is disabled.
Blocking is one-directional and private — the other person isn't notified. You can review and remove blocks any time from Safety Center → Blocked.
Reporting
You can report a profile, a direct message, a post, or a message inside a room chat. Every report asks for a reason and lets you add optional details. Reports are reviewed, and repeated or serious reports affect the reported member's standing on the platform (more on that below).

Community standing and trust
Every member has a communityStanding score that factors in:
- How long the account has been active.
- Whether the account is verified.
- Positive reviews left by other members after a transaction.
- Reports filed against the account.
Members who cross a trust threshold — and have no unresolved serious reports — get a Trusted badge on their profile. It's not something you can turn on yourself; it's earned through consistent, positive activity.
Verification for creators
Creators can apply for verification from their dashboard by submitting a government ID and a selfie for manual review. Once approved, a Verified creator badge appears on their profile — a signal that a real person stands behind the content, reviewed by our team rather than self-reported.
Reviews, with real eligibility checks
You can only review someone after a shared, verifiable interaction — completing a transaction together. This isn't a suggestion enforced by good faith; the review form simply won't appear unless that shared context actually exists. It keeps reviews meaningful instead of becoming a general-purpose rating free-for-all.
The short version
Block freely, report honestly, and know that verification and reputation badges mean something specific — they're not decoration. If something feels wrong, the tools to act on it are always one tap away from the profile or message in question.
